Metabolic syndrome

Metabolic syndrome describes a group of risk factors for heart disease.

These include carrying too much fat around your waist, having high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar levels, high triglycerides, or low HDL (good) cholesterol.

If it is found early, it can serve as an important warning and help put you on a heart-healthier path. Adopting healthy habits can prevent and even reverse metabolic syndrome.

Frozen bread/cooked rice may reduce metabolic syndrome.

Freezing convert part of the starch in bread/cooked rice to resistant starch.

Resistant starch (fiber) in frozen bread/rice is fermented in our body to produce butyrate.

Butyrate may reduce 3 highs & obesity.
